What qualifications do Lauren and Jenna have?

Lauren and Jenna are trained and certified Intuitive Eating Counselors by The Original Intuitive Eating ProsⓇ. We’re both currently in grad school to become therapists specializing in eating disorders, disordered eating, and body image work.

What is UnDieting?

UnDieting is the undoing of diet culture. It allows you to release the focus on the way you look, end binge eating, and embrace a life of enjoyable wellness without obsession.

We use the insights from Intuitive Eating as well as the Health at Every Size (HAES) and Non Diet approaches in our work.

How can I start intuitive eating?

What if I still want to lose weight for my health?

One thing we should be clear about is that we do not offer weight loss work nor do any of our programs or coaching focus on weight. 

Studies show that pursuing weight loss fails up to 95% of the time and that 66% of the time people end up heavier than when they started.

Studies also show that most diets or lifestyle changes will not result in long term weight loss. And never mind the side effects that come with restriction and dieting — like binge eating, food obsession, body preoccupation and an unhealthy relationship with food. 

So, what we focus on instead is how you FEEL! We help you heal your relationship with food and your body so you can find wellness in a way that is actually enjoyable and lasts a lifetime.

What if I’m afraid to commit to intuitive eating?

It’s normal to be scared. 

When you first join our community, we’ll lead you slowly in the direction of UnDieting. You aren’t told to do anything. That’s what diets do — they tell you what to do and you have to subscribe to rules and plans. But this isn’t what UnDieting is about. 

We simply share tips and guidance on how to start looking at things differently so you can make the choices that best serve you right now. The work we do will teach you how to take care of yourself with no have-tos, shoulds or can’ts.

We also have private coaching options if you need a different kind of guidance for your intuitive eating journey.

Everything is online and the community is accessible online, so anyone from anywhere can join us.

I’m dieting but I want to stop. Can I join UNdiet Online?

Absolutely. This is a judgment-free zone and we’ll help you no matter where you’re at on your journey to becoming an UnDieter!
